Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gualterio Intxixu kicked off to start the match. Gualterio Intxixu hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Amado Bartoli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardino Matro. Jakalakas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Candelaria's Nemesio Alonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Candelaria from getting a goal against them. Gualterio Intxixu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Nemesio Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Pirro in the 10th minute of play forced Jakalakas FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakalakas FC's Bernardino Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Mambru in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Candelaria booed when Jakalakas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Eliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jakalakas FC were furious when Guaberto Flor was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 26 minutes into the game, one of Jakalakas FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Candelaria booed when Jakalakas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Orlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Marcelino Pirro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardino Matro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 39 minutes into the match, Candelaria's goalkeeper Nemesio Alonso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualterio Intxixu. Gualterio Intxixu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nemesio Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute of the game Eduardo Crescencio made a throw-in which Ezequiel Dolfos played forward. The Jakalakas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Candelaria were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelino Pirro to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Candelaria's Ezequiel Dolfos got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Mambru got free with Bernardino Matro in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute Marcelino Pirro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Matro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardino Matro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Dolfos in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria's zone, Gualterio Intxixu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Alonso came out of the goal and Gualterio Intxixu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Candelaria's Marcelino Pirro got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 76th match minute, Jakalakas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Joseph to maneuver through the defense. The goalkeeper, Bernardino Matro, was totally fooled by Candelaria's Diego Eufemio, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Filomeno Orlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience held their breath when Arnulfo Sindo in the 90th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Nemesio Alonso's left hand side. In the 94th minute, Fabian Eudoxio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Gualterio Intxixu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nemesio Alonso was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. When the final whistle went the supporters of Candelaria were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Jakalakas FC side.
