Albano Ongile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Mecánica Naranja. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Cresencio in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albano Ongile prevented the ball from getting in the gole. La Mecánica Naranja's Pablo Cresencio got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to future getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Fausto Valiente hit a great ball. Albano Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Duarte in the 22nd minute of play. Baldomiro Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Ongile having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Norbert Pliszka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorino Lopes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fidel Iigo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Cresencio in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albano Ongile saved future from getting behind. La Mecánica Naranja's Baldomiro Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albano Ongile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albano Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Cresencio in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Vermudo in the 40th minute of play forced La Mecánica Naranja's goalkeeper Victorino Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pablo Cresencio made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Fausto Valiente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the future and the La Mecánica Naranja players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, future's Fausto Valiente got a free kick in the 51st minute. Albano Ongile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomiro Duarte in the 55th minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Pablo Cresencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Mecánica Naranja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Cresencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 61 played minutes La Mecánica Naranja got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Lain. After 63 played minutes, future's Fidel Iigo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victorino Lopes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in future reached it. 67 minutes into the match, future's goalkeeper Albano Ongile had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomiro Duarte. Fausto Valiente kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Pablo Cresencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Ongile having to interfere. Baldomiro Duarte's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Albano Ongile firmly grabbed it by the left post. 80 minutes into the match, future's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Cresencio came free, but Albano Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Baldomiro Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Cresencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Albano Ongile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Baldomiro Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baldomiro Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Mecánica Naranja's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
