When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Evelio Tabby took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Leopoldo Furtado to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Agustin Colon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leopoldo Furtado. That made the score 0-5 in the 55 minute of play. Isaac Quentin took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Furtado. Leopoldo Furtado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The audience was convinced that Agustin Colon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Furtado was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 72nd minute, Evelio Tabby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, los villeros de belgrano's Leopoldo Furtado got control of the ball when Isaac Quentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brancos F.C's Ignacio Cresconio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Mossberg in the 76th minute of play. Dario Mano charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Mano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Brancos F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Brancos F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
