An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Isaias Gau got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 21st minute, Salvador Elorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boedo Gunners's Modesto Sol got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Montrell in the 25th minute of play forced Posadas FC's goalkeeper Anacleto Argi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Posadas FC's goalkeeper Anacleto Argi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konstanty Korytkowski. Eduardo Ibañez took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorio Isadore. Victorio Isadore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The supporters of Boedo Gunners booed when Posadas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Onofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes of play, Boedo Gunners's Timoteo Montrell made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anacleto Argi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zulfikar Sipayung hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Anacleto Argi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstanty Korytkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boedo Gunners's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Sol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anacleto Argi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
