Victorio Isadore came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Asamblea AFC's Guillermo Tirso. But to his dismay, Guillermo Tirso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustaquio Leizarraga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Konstanty Korytkowski notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Asamblea AFC's Edgardo Eyague. Pedro Jakobe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Victorio Isadore. Boedo Gunners's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Timoteo Montrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Edgardo Eyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Eyague was a little too slow when Konstanty Korytkowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Koldobika in the 81st minute of play forced Boedo Gunners's goalkeeper Victorio Isadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
