Trinchera AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Trinchera AFC booed when Posadas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jo Reid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Enaut came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anacleto Argi could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Dimas in the 27th minute of play forced Posadas FC's goalkeeper Anacleto Argi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anacleto Argi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Dimas in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Urdin in the 30th minute of play forced Posadas FC's goalkeeper Anacleto Argi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes Trinchera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Urdin. After a rather tough play, Trinchera AFC's Jacinto Uzuri got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Anacleto Argi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Dimas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the game, Arsenio Leobardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Anacleto Argi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute Arsenio Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Argi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Posadas FC defense, Damaso Dimas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anacleto Argi. The Posadas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anacleto Argi should have stopped the shot. Anacleto Argi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Leobardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Anacleto Argi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Enaut in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Posadas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Dimas came free, but Anacleto Argi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Trinchera AFC booed when Posadas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Elorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eduardo Ibañez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Hechter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play.
