Paulino Ciceron came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Pescadores's Victorio Txindoki. But to his dismay, Victorio Txindoki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Severo Haitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Ciceron having to interfere. When Gilberto Isadore fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pescadores's protests and gave Gilberto Isadore a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Gilberto Isadore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 minutes of play, Club Atletico Juarense's Julio Valery made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Gaspar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Despite being the better team, Pescadores failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
