The audience was convinced that Feliciano Botello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruperto Beturian was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Aquilino Raymundo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Estudiantes's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Escobar came free, but Vladimiro Cordarrol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
