But to his dismay, Cayetano Mederi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Norberto Romelio fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA PINAL FC's protests and gave Norberto Romelio a yellow card for diving instead. 33 minutes into the match, Ledesma FC's Hernan Cedro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Willis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaroslaw Banach's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Mateo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Norberto Romelio in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernando Mateo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Ledesma FC's Fernando Mateo got control of the ball when Norberto Romelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Hernan Cedro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 55th playminute. A collision led to Ledesma FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. The LA PINAL FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Jaroslaw Banach sped through Ledesma FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernando Mateo. Jaroslaw Banach kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hernan Cedro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfonso Willis. That made the score 2-3 in the 70 minute of play. Teobaldo Bazkoare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Mederi in the 76th minute of play forced LA PINAL FC's goalkeeper Alfonso Willis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Mateo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Banach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaroslaw Banach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. LA PINAL FC's Alfonso Willis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Mederi in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see LA PINAL FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
