Marcelo Oihenarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlanta. Ciro Romildo's late challenge caught a Atlanta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Romildo helped the player get up and apologised. When Versailles FC's Feliberto Jusepe in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlanta's goalie prevented a goal. Feliberto Jusepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Maximino Ixidor notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Atlanta's Cleto Jaunti. Cleto Jaunti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Faustino Chaime received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelo Oihenarte came out and tried to block the shot, but Faustino Chaime slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 20th minute. Isaac Theodore succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 24th playminute. In the 33rd minute Feliberto Jusepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Jaunti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Atlanta's Marcelo Oihenarte threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Faustino Chaime, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Feliberto Jusepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Jaunti having to interfere. Feliberto Jusepe took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cleto Jaunti. Cleto Jaunti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Faro was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Feliberto Jusepe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cleto Jaunti. Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliberto Jusepe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 62 minutes into the match, Versailles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Chaime came free, but Marcelo Oihenarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Faustino Chaime shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Feliberto Jusepe came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Versailles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Jusepe couldn't finish the play. If Pedro Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Feliberto Jusepe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Versailles FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Jusepe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feliberto Jusepe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 minutes of play, Versailles FC's Feliberto Jusepe made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cleto Jaunti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Feliberto Jusepe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Atlanta's goalkeeper Cleto Jaunti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Jusepe.
