Córdoba Club's Domingos Rufo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Urtats during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 34 minutes into the match, Bernardo Romildo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domingos Rufo. Córdoba Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardo Romildo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ladislao Herena got in the 45th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Domingos Rufo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ladislao Herena made the kick off in the second half. Ovidio Gaskon kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 played minutes Córdoba Club got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Vincente. In the 55th minute of the match Ladislao Herena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingos Rufo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Córdoba Club's Domingos Rufo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Herena in the 59th minute of play. If Bernardo Romildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Córdoba Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Herena came free, but Domingos Rufo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Córdoba Club getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jorge Argoitz hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Dominguito AFC's Domingos Rufo threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ladislao Herena, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With his leg Domingos Rufo managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Dominguito AFC's Ladislao Herena fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Domingos Rufo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Herena's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Jorge Argoitz hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Nestor Cisco hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Octavio Cordarrol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Cipriano Ciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Bernardo Romildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dominguito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Romildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Rufo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Córdoba Club's Domingos Rufo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Córdoba Club from getting a goal against them. The Córdoba Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dominguito AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
