The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Argoitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. DEPORTIVO ABRIL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Jorge Argoitz scored to the left of an out of position Mariano Puredo, making the score, 1-1. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Jorge Argoitz took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Mariano Puredo to make any attempt to save it. After 76 played minutes DEPORTIVO ABRIL got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Izotz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Argoitz got free with Mariano Puredo in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingos Rufo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Quexal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willem Meijs in the 85th minute of play forced Córdoba Club's goalkeeper Domingos Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Israel Quexal took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingos Rufo. Domingos Rufo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Mariano Puredo made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Jorge Argoitz sent off a good shot on target. Córdoba Club were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
