Batel FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by La Guardia Imperial. La Guardia Imperial's Cafu Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, Batel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Ibon to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Batel FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Anastasio Tabor hit a great ball. With a little luck, Batel FC's Ezequiel Michael got control of the ball when Cafu Moreno tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Ramon Gonzalez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rigoberto Vigil succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Cafu Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ezequiel Michael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cafu Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
