Spectators: 7122 (Terracing: 5343, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Clodoveo Palos started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, legolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Gutxi to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Palos in the 8th minute of play. Humberto Urtungo came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by legolas's Theo Rijmenans. But to his dismay, Theo Rijmenans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 1-1 became the score in the 13th minute when Clodoveo Palos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Anastasio Roderigo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, legolas's Eusebio Orkatz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Urtungo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 23rd minute, Theo Rijmenans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The legolas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. A. C. ChievoVerona's Humberto Urtungo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Nicolae in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Luca Nicolae cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Humberto Urtungo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th match minute, legolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Gutxi to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 43 minutes, Eusebio Orkatz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. legolas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Orkatz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humberto Urtungo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Nicolae in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Theo Rijmenans to make the kick off. Humberto Urtungo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Nicolae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Luca Nicolae took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Humberto Urtungo to make any attempt to save it. After 62 minutes, Denis Gutxi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the legolas and the A. C. ChievoVerona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes legolas got a freekick which was hit by Denis Gutxi. Jesus Florinio hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Humberto Urtungo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, A. C. ChievoVerona's Anastasio Roderigo got a free kick in the 74th minute. Anier Abascal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Javiar having to interfere. When Virgilio Sanson fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored legolas's protests and gave Virgilio Sanson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of A. C. ChievoVerona booed when legolas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Sanson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eusebio Orkatz came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the legolas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Orkatz couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Luca Nicolae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. legolas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
