An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Hotz in the 19th minute of play forced legolas's goalkeeper Paulo Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Perutxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luca Nicolae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Roman Gentza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Gutxi's late challenge caught a Cavanagh FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Gutxi helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of legolas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cavanagh FC:s goal. A collision led to Cavanagh FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Leopoldo Hats hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theo Rijmenans was the one to do the kick off. Roman Gentza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Rijmenans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd match minute, legolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Santio to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Cavanagh FC's Honorio Hotz fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. In the 82nd minute, Esteve Perutxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luca Nicolae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
