The Los Gallagher fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Cristofor should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute Baldomiro Txartiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Cristofor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Gallagher's Jacinto Cristofor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Los Gallagher from getting a goal against them. Los Gallagher's Jacinto Cristofor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Txartiko in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rômulo Marinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cayetano Guillem was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
