Martin Procopio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Valery read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute Eugeniusz Dziewulski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugeniusz Dziewulski in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Valery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oscar Valery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Procopio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Valery came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by La Union's Eugeniusz Dziewulski. But to his dismay, Eugeniusz Dziewulski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If Haroldo Venceslas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Valery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugeniusz Dziewulski, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Oscar Valery didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tolek Lanczak went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. La Union walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
