Sebastian Illan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. ROMPEBALLAS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 42nd match minute, Esperanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Hulberto to maneuver through the defense. When Sebastian Illan came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the ROMPEBALLAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Illan couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Esperanza:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ROMPEBALLAS:s goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agustin Vincent to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Vincent in the 63rd minute of play forced ROMPEBALLAS's goalkeeper Donald Barbotin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Bemabe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Donald Barbotin made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Esperanza's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Illan came free, but Marciano Marcones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Geronimo Hulberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silvio Afonso kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Marciano Marcones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Otsoko in the 73rd minute of play. Marciano Marcones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Ascencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atilano Cloyo's late challenge caught a Esperanza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Cloyo helped the player get up and apologised. Atilano Cloyo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Esperanza's Marciano Marcones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Gorbea in the 80th minute of play. Eriberto Ascencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Marcones having to interfere. Eriberto Ascencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Esperanza's Marciano Marcones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Ascencio in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Eriberto Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Marcones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marciano Marcones stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eriberto Ascencio's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. There was no doubt that ROMPEBALLAS were the better team. ROMPEBALLAS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
