Cyprian Lukasik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Ambrosio Orlin made a huge save. Toni Zapater was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 16th minute, Severiano Gabirel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Castel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cornelio Argina came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Club Atletico Boca Junior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Argina couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Boca Junior's Benigno Vimaro got a free kick in the 26th minute. Edgard Ezkerra missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 27 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ambrosio Orlin right hand side. Toni Zapater recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Cyprian Lukasik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Cyprian Lukasik got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Cyprian Lukasik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Castel in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ambrosio Orlin saved Club Atletico Boca Junior from getting behind. Toni Zapater blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ambrosio Orlin having to make a save. When Toni Zapater came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Tambillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toni Zapater couldn't finish the play. Benito Castel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Orlin having to interfere. Federico Justin kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Francisco Criston was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Severiano Gabirel. When Moises Maurino fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tambillos's protests and gave Moises Maurino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Tambillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Maurino to maneuver through the defense. Moises Maurino hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Benito Castel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute.
