Spectators: 7111 (Terracing: 5335, Seating: 1635, VIP seats: 141) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nicasio Dominic kicked off to start the match. Nicasio Dominic blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Everardo Hermelando having to make a save. Everardo Hermelando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Dominic in the 6th minute of the match. Gaspar Piorno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Everardo Hermelando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximo Eguen hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Gaspar Piorno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grüttly AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Piorno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Hermelando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicasio Dominic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Hermelando having to interfere. Gaspar Piorno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Hermelando having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Salado's goalkeeper Everardo Hermelando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Piorno. If Nicasio Dominic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 34 in the game by Gaspar Piorno from a close distance when the talented Everardo Hermelando managed to make a qualified save. Salado's players were relieved. 35 minutes into the match, Nicasio Playo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Grüttly AFC's Cristian Urritz. Cristian Urritz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristian Urritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Raymundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Nicasio Dominic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Hermelando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Salado were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicasio Playo was the one to do the kick off. Nicasio Dominic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaspar Piorno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Everardo Hermelando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Piorno in the 66th minute of play forced Salado's goalkeeper Everardo Hermelando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nicasio Dominic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Hermelando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Dominic, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Eloy Ospetsu fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salado's protests and gave Eloy Ospetsu a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Salado:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Grüttly AFC:s goal. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Grüttly AFC. Alejo Montrell stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Everardo Hermelando. 1-1. Everardo Hermelando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Dominic, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicasio Dominic in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everardo Hermelando saved Salado from getting behind. In the 85th minute, Astor Clementi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salado's Everardo Hermelando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Piorno in the 88th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Salado's Cristian Urritz threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicasio Playo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 91 minutes into the game, Roberto Lazcano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grüttly AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salado the free kick. In the 91st minute, Roberto Lazcano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Hermelando came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Grüttly AFC's Nicasio Dominic. But to his dismay, Nicasio Dominic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. There was no doubt that Grüttly AFC were the better team. Grüttly AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
