Atreucó's Venancio Geofredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iacob Voinescu in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Atreucó's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Cefero came free, but Venancio Geofredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes Atreucó got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Raymon. Fermin Firmo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorio Raymon went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 26thth minute of the game Iacob Voinescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atreucó's Venancio Geofredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fermin Firmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a little luck, Atreucó's Venancio Geofredo got control of the ball when Iacob Voinescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fermin Firmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Atreucó's Dalmacio Chuan got a free kick in the 36th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timoteo Bernabel to make the kick off. Venancio Geofredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Cefero in the 52nd minute of play. If Iacob Voinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Iacob Voinescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Venancio Geofredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Venancio Geofredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Orain in the 58th minute of play. Dalmacio Chuan's late challenge caught a Veni - Vidi - Vici's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Chuan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Veni - Vidi - Vici booed when Atreucó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Chuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Neto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 61st playminute. Venancio Geofredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Orain in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Atreucó's zone, Ildefonso Laurendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Geofredo came out of the goal and Ildefonso Laurendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venancio Geofredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Cefero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iacob Voinescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Atreucó's Dalmacio Chuan got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Voinescu in the 84th minute of play forced Atreucó's goalkeeper Venancio Geofredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iacob Voinescu scored 2-4 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Venancio Geofredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Iacob Voinescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fermin Firmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Bernabel in the 96th minute of play. Chants of Atreucó echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Veni - Vidi - Vici had held the ball for most of the match.
