Zacarias Ascencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atreucó. Zacarias Ascencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Neto's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Zacarias Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Bernabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliberto Gaitano in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Geofredo saved Atreucó from getting behind. Dalmacio Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the game, Apolo Kauldi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nihuil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atreucó the free kick. After 26 played minutes Nihuil got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Kauldi. In the 30th match minute, Atreucó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Neto to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Donato Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atreucó's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Ascencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timoteo Bernabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Zacarias Ascencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Timoteo Bernabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nihuil's Zacarias Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Neto in the 41st minute of play. Donato Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Feliberto Gaitano made the kick off in the second half. Donato Neto struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. In the 63rd minute Timoteo Bernabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Nihuil's goalkeeper Zacarias Ascencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato Neto. Timoteo Bernabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Ascencio having to interfere. Nihuil's Zacarias Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Bernabel in the 71st minute of play. Donato Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zacarias Ascencio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Timoteo Bernabel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 77 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Bernabel in the 81st minute of play forced Nihuil's goalkeeper Zacarias Ascencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atreucó's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 91st minute, Donato Neto made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Ascencio. Nihuil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When the final whistle sounded Atreucó left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nihuil.
