The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Börje Gustafsson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PASIONTOMBINA's Börje Gustafsson got a free kick in the 6th minute. Geronimo Jaizki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque George in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Teofilo Bartuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Ioritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börje Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Anibal Ioritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Grupo Universitario FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Vermudo to maneuver through the defense. Anibal Ioritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Gustafsson in the 16th minute of play. The corner ended in Armando Vermudo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Grupo Universitario FC's Anibal Ioritz did a great save. If Pedro Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 21 minutes, Melquiades Vermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grupo Universitario FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Vermudo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Enaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Jaizki having to interfere. Pedro Enaut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Javier Iztal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Enaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Jaizki having to interfere. Pedro Enaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roque George received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Geronimo Jaizki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Pedro Enaut made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Enaut struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Geronimo Jaizki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grupo Universitario FC. Javier Iztal kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Baltasar Nikola charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltasar Nikola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Grupo Universitario FC got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Nikola. Pedro Enaut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 minutes, Eugenio Tuste mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grupo Universitario FC and the PASIONTOMBINA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Grupo Universitario FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Eugenio Tuste hit a great ball. In the 89th play minute Teofilo Bartuelo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anibal Ioritz. 0-2. Pedro Enaut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 played minutes PASIONTOMBINA got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Bartuelo. PASIONTOMBINA were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Grupo Universitario FC's much stronger midfield.
