The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Urbano Lucila charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cipriano Fagildo came out and tried to block the shot, but Dionisio Rubio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Cipriano Fagildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Rubio in the 12th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Cosme Godoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luis Beltran FC and the Trini y Neo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Luis Beltran FC got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Godoy. Melchor Viviano charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melchor Viviano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Romulo Oskitz kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Benedicto Ekialde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Baldovino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Paublo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benedicto Ekialde. Luis Beltran FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mauro Baldovino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Ekialde having to interfere. If Jaime Chus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Luis Beltran FC's Higinio Rozarius got a free kick in the 44th minute. Benedicto Ekialde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Iratxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dionisio Rubio to strike the kick off in the second half. Jaime Chus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trini y Neo's goalkeeper Cipriano Fagildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Trini y Neo's Urbano Lucila got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 85 minutes of play, Luis Beltran FC's Dionisio Rubio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cipriano Fagildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dionisio Rubio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Fagildo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Dionisio Rubio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luis Beltran FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. There was no doubt that Luis Beltran FC were the better team. Luis Beltran FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
