WanHeda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Azubeli ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fermin Enekoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Arias in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Freddy Vedillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. WanHeda's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Vedillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermin Enekoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fermin Enekoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Vedillo in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Laferrere's Marco Izel got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Laferrere's Astor Presebal in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WanHeda's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Laferrere's zone, Freddy Vedillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Enekoitz came out of the goal and Freddy Vedillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 minutes, Astor Presebal made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. WanHeda's Justo Venerando tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fermin Enekoitz was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Adolfo Orain capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adolfo Orain really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Laferrere had played much better football throughout.
