Laferrere's David Azubeli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benedicto Ekialde in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 15 minutes, Apolo Sol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laferrere and the Luis Beltran FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Laferrere's Apolo Sol got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 19 minutes of play, Luis Beltran FC's Dionisio Rubio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fermin Enekoitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fermin Enekoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Dionisio Rubio made a precise shot to the right of Fermin Enekoitz. Laferrere's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Luis Beltran FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Luis Beltran FC's Dionisio Rubio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 47 minutes into the match, Laferrere's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Chus came free, but Fermin Enekoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dionisio Rubio to make the kick off. In the last second Fermin Enekoitz throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dionisio Rubio in the 56thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Benedicto Ekialde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Arenius in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the Luis Beltran FC defense, Astor Presebal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Ekialde. The Luis Beltran FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Ekialde should have stopped the shot. Benedicto Ekialde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Presebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astor Presebal in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Ekialde saved Luis Beltran FC from getting behind. After 71 minutes of play, Laferrere's Raul Dwyer made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedicto Ekialde was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aaron Vedillo's late challenge caught a Luis Beltran FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Vedillo helped the player get up and apologised. Aaron Vedillo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Astor Presebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Benedicto Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Astor Presebal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedicto Ekialde was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Laferrere defense, Jaime Chus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fermin Enekoitz. The Laferrere fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fermin Enekoitz should have stopped the shot. Although Laferrere had been in control for most of the match, Luis Beltran FC still came away with the win.
