Spectators: 7010 (Terracing: 5365, Seating: 1645, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Astor Presebal started the match with the kick off. When Astor Presebal came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Laferrere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Presebal couldn't finish the play. Astor Presebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Fagildo having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Trini y Neo got a freekick which was hit by Diego Cugat. If Astor Presebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Urbano Lucila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trini y Neo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laferrere the free kick. After 17 played minutes Trini y Neo got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Lucila. With his leg Cipriano Fagildo managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Laferrere's Astor Presebal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 20 minutes Trini y Neo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Azubeli who took care of the corner kick. In the 22ndth minute of the game Mauro Baldovino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laferrere's Fermin Enekoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Astor Presebal struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Cipriano Fagildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laferrere. In the 37th minute Raul Dwyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Fagildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Presebal struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Cipriano Fagildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laferrere. If Astor Presebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nereo Truylos came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Laferrere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Truylos couldn't finish the play. John Arenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Cipriano Fagildo made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fulgencio Iratxo made a kick off. Fulgencio Iratxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Astor Presebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Fagildo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Astor Presebal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laferrere's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Presebal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Fagildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astor Presebal in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Fagildo saved Trini y Neo from getting behind. Nereo Truylos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mauro Baldovino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Enekoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Iratxo in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Laferrere's Aaron Vedillo got a free kick in the 69th minute. Astor Presebal struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Cipriano Fagildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laferrere. 78 minutes into the match, Trini y Neo's goal looked a bit too open when John Arenius came free, but Cipriano Fagildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Laferrere fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Laferrere's Astor Presebal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 85 minutes into the match, John Arenius notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Trini y Neo's Cipriano Fagildo. Cipriano Fagildo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aaron Vedillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Fagildo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Laferrere walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
