With a little luck, Fanta Mecanica FC's Raul Gelmiro got control of the ball when Anier Ponc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulino Lazcano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigio Orixe having to make a save. After 17 played minutes los guachines got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Gasteiz. Remigio Orixe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Ilixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remigio Orixe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Tebaldo in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of los guachines booed when Fanta Mecanica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Firman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Beti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raul Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Beti in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Severino Tebaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fanta Mecanica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Tebaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Fanta Mecanica FC booed when los guachines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Beti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 played minutes los guachines got a freekick which was hit by Candido Rolado. In the 45th match minute, los guachines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Gasteiz to maneuver through the defense. Anier Ponc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Tebaldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, los guachines's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Ilixo came free, but Remigio Orixe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Tebaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Remigio Orixe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulino Lazcano got free with Remigio Orixe in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remigio Orixe made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Severino Tebaldo sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute Anier Ponc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Gelmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Fanta Mecanica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Rafel to maneuver through the defense. Severino Tebaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Remigio Orixe made a huge save. After a rather tough play, los guachines's Raimundo Beti got a free kick in the 75th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Remigio Orixe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Generoso Ilixo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Remigio Orixe. That made the score 0-3 in the 89 minute of play. Fanta Mecanica FC were furious when Andres Roano was red carded, 96 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Fanta Mecanica FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
