The referee ignored El Borussia Canalla's protests and gave Cesar Jurdan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, El Borussia Canalla's Cesar Jurdan got a free kick in the 26th minute. Leonides Jacob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes El Borussia Canalla got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Toro. El Borussia Canalla's Delmiro Chinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save El Borussia Canalla from getting a goal against them. Dalmacio Txordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Chinto having to interfere. Leonides Jacob recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jose Pepillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Enrique Domiku's late challenge caught a El Borussia Canalla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Domiku helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Standard Liege AFC got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Domiku. Conrado Naldo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57thth minute of the game Leonides Jacob who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Standard Liege AFC's Teobaldo Estevez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Leonides Jacob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Inocencio Pirmin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Chinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Aballe kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Delmiro Chinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Pirmin in the 71st minute of play. El Borussia Canalla's Delmiro Chinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Domiku in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute Conrado Naldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Chinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Jacob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Estevez having to interfere. A collision led to Standard Liege AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Conrado Naldo hit a great ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Inocencio Pirmin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Standard Liege AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Pirmin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Standard Liege AFC's Inocencio Pirmin in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Borussia Canalla's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Naldo in the 84th minute of play forced El Borussia Canalla's goalkeeper Delmiro Chinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Standard Liege AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though El Borussia Canalla had controlled the match.
