The audience thought a goal was coming when Basilio Cloyo got free with Oscar Tauro in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Messimaradona FC's Augusto Havier got a free kick in the 80th minute. Oscar Tauro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basilio Cloyo in the 81st minute. When the match was over Jaguares FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Messimaradona FC throughout the match.
