The referee showed Jeremias Henric the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celedonio Quinito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Chinto having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Chaca F.C's goalkeeper Christian Chinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Quinito. Christian Chinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Daunte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Leocadio's late challenge caught a Chaca F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Leocadio helped the player get up and apologised. Rodrigo Leocadio kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Prudencio Quin thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Abel Sergi, a very annoying self made goal in the 31st minute which led to 0-2. Basilio Ler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Pico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Tome came free, but Abel Sergi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Ler in the 39th minute of play forced Pico FC's goalkeeper Abel Sergi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Chaca F.C booed when Pico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Leocadio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Quinito got free with Christian Chinto in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basilio Ler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Pico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Dayam to maneuver through the defense. Cosme Tome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basilio Ler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Abel Sergi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chaca F.C's Fidel Goizeder got a free kick in the 59th minute. The supporters of Pico FC booed when Chaca F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Henric didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Daunte in the 66th minute of play forced Chaca F.C's goalkeeper Christian Chinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Celedonio Quinito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pico FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 75 played minutes Chaca F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Henric. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Basilio Ler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chaca F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Ler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Sergi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chaca F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
