Spectators: 7059 (Terracing: 5296, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 140) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Florentino Calvino took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Porteña FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Montel to maneuver through the defense. Hector Cisco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Calvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Niceto Ihintza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Cisco having to interfere. Guaminí's Florentino Calvino got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Porteña FC's Anibal Garaona slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Venancio Neron. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Isaac Francis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Neron having to interfere. Niceto Ihintza struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Hector Cisco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaminí. After a defensive mix-up in Porteña FC's zone, Florentino Calvino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Cisco came out of the goal and Florentino Calvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentino Calvino in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Cisco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hector Cisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Calvino in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Matias Gai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Niceto Ihintza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guaminí fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Florentino Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anibal Garaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florentino Calvino struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Simon Malvin charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Malvin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Guaminí getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Simon Malvin hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the game, Silvestre Lizardi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaminí's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porteña FC the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentino Calvino in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Cisco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Porteña FC's Hector Cisco got control of the ball when Niceto Ihintza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Porteña FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Guaminí had controlled the match.
