Spectators: 7116 (Terracing: 5339, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 141) Union Francesa's Isaias Nisio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arturo Totakoxe hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The supporters of Union Francesa booed when Los Peores Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Rosio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 played minutes Union Francesa got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Macario. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Severino Etxahun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Peores Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Etxahun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Placido Richie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute Arturo Totakoxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Richie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Cirilo Nardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Peores Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Union Francesa the free kick. Union Francesa's Alfredo Gilesindo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los Peores Futbol Club. Placido Richie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Totakoxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Placido Richie made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Severino Etxahun sent off a good shot on target. Severino Etxahun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Richie having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Union Francesa's goalkeeper Placido Richie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Etxahun. Union Francesa's Isaias Nisio got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Union Francesa's Placido Richie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Union Francesa from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo Totakoxe to make the kick off. Saverio Feo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Aureliano Resto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Union Francesa. After 62 played minutes Los Peores Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Totakoxe. Nicolas Columbo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Union Francesa's Placido Richie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Totakoxe in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Arturo Totakoxe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Placido Richie was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Isaias Nisio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Aureliano Resto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Resto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Feo in the 85th minute of play. If Severino Etxahun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Placido Richie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Totakoxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Placido Richie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Etxahun in the 93rd minute of the match.
