Franklin's Julian Dantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Onbera in the 10th minute of play. Julian Dantel made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Teodoro Marko sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Franklin's Rigoberto Caitano got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 23 minutes, Abel Rolado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riquelme FC and the Franklin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Riquelme FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Rolado to maneuver through the defense. Rigoberto Caitano kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Franklin's goalkeeper Julian Dantel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Marko. In the 30th minute, Rigoberto Caitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Franklin defense, Teodoro Marko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Dantel. The Franklin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Dantel should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Eulalio Muno sped through Riquelme FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romulo Ibañez. 41 minutes into the game, Erasmo Belmiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riquelme FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Franklin the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Riquelme FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Franklin:s goal. Siro Onbera hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Burni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julian Dantel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Onbera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romulo Ibañez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Caitano went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Esteban Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Tonio during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes Franklin got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Tonio. In the 70th match minute, Franklin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Gil to maneuver through the defense. Julian Dantel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Marko in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Burni in the 73rd minute of play forced Franklin's goalkeeper Julian Dantel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Teodoro Marko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Dantel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Dantel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Marko in the 77th minute of the match. Mauro Tonio hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Romulo Ibañez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Waldemar Krap. The Riquelme FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Franklin's performance. The match ended with a win for Franklin.
