The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mauro Mannuel came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the SARMIENTO DE JUNÏN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Mannuel couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Maximo Vistruario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gaston Avellaneda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Placido Maurin hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gaston Avellaneda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Vistruario, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Gaston Avellaneda came out of the goal and Cezar Pascariu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Maximo Vistruario notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of SARMIENTO DE JUNÏN's Gaston Avellaneda. Gaston Avellaneda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximo Vistruario to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaston Avellaneda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raúl de Queirós showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 54 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Raúl de Queirós kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaston Avellaneda. That made the score 0-6 in the 58 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SARMIENTO DE JUNÏN's zone, Cezar Pascariu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Avellaneda came out of the goal and Cezar Pascariu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Maximo Vistruario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaston Avellaneda. SARMIENTO DE JUNÏN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximo Vistruario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Gaston Avellaneda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Vistruario in the 81st minute. Gaston Avellaneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl de Queirós in the 87th minute of the match. If Teofilo Locaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Mannuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Raúl de Queirós took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Gaston Avellaneda to make any attempt to save it. When the match was over Nacate could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SARMIENTO DE JUNÏN throughout the match.
