Felix Perfecto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Miroslaw Bambas. Quilmes A.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rodrigo Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Erauso in the 5th minute of play. Felix Perfecto struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Miroslaw Bambas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Payogasta. In the 11th minute Felix Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Bambas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Perfecto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 played minutes Payogasta got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Macario. A collision led to Quilmes A.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gilberto Nicholas hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Ambrosio Hibai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Payogasta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 26 minutes into the game, one of Quilmes A.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Payogasta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felix Perfecto in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Ambrosio Hibai notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Quilmes A.C.'s Miroslaw Bambas. Miroslaw Bambas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Octavio Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miroslaw Bambas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Macario in the 38th minute of the match. Daniel Macario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Bambas having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Perfecto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Macario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aaron Erauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rodrigo Cordario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Cordario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Erauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Cordario having to interfere. Payogasta's Rodrigo Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Guillen in the 64th minute of play. Miroslaw Bambas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Macario in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Arnulfo Arotza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Cordario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Guillen, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Quilmes A.C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Aaron Erauso hit a great ball. Payogasta's Humberto Ordono was substituted for Silverio Cordareo. In the 77th minute, Aaron Erauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The nice shot from Felix Perfecto in the 78thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Miroslaw Bambas had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Payogasta were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Quilmes A.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felix Perfecto took the corner. The corner led Payogasta's Felix Perfecto to fire away a dangerous shot which Miroslaw Bambas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Felix Perfecto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Miroslaw Bambas made a huge save. Quilmes A.C.'s Miroslaw Bambas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Quilmes A.C. from getting a goal against them. When Felix Perfecto came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Payogasta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Perfecto couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Octavio Guillen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilmes A.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Guillen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Cordario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Cordario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Guillen, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute Octavio Guillen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Erauso in the 92nd minute of play forced Payogasta's goalkeeper Rodrigo Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
