Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Empalme's Cristian Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Nesor in the 3rd minute of play. Fernando Vianna might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Santana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Vianna ran back to his position shaking his head. 6 minutes into the match, Empalme's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Nesor came free, but Cristian Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Patricio Nesor notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Empalme's Cristian Santana. Cristian Santana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th minute, Nick Eberlein left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Finoli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 18th minute Pedro Loren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Cordarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Finoli's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Loren came free, but Jose Cordarius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Empalme's Aldo Firman tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Leon Beturian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Empalme's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Beturian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Cordarius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose Cordarius made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Leon Beturian sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the game, Leon Beturian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jose Cordarius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd play minute Leon Beturian came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jose Cordarius. 2-2. Empalme's Pedro Loren was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 46th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patricio Nesor was the one to do the kick off. Empalme's Cristian Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Empalme from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Leon Beturian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Empalme's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Beturian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Cordarius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Nesor in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Pedro Loren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Empalme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Loren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Empalme getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Aldo Firman hit a great ball. After 70 minutes, Pedro Loren made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Finoli's Jose Cordarius tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Empalme's Leon Beturian got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Pedro Loren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Cordarius was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Nick Eberlein kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristian Santana. That made the score 5-3 in the 79 minute of play. Pedro Loren spun around in front of the goal 84 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Finoli's goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Loren in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Cordarius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 90 played minutes Empalme got a freekick which was hit by Guido Primo. Thanks to some nice moves Nick Eberlein could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Cristian Santana however easily saved by the left post. Leon Beturian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Cordarius having to interfere. Empalme's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
