Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) Pedro Loren started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Beturian in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norberto Domiku saved Liebig from getting behind. Eustacio Cuarto struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Cristian Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liebig. Norberto Domiku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Loren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Liebig defense, Pedro Loren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Domiku. The Liebig fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Domiku should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Benicio Mundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th match minute, Liebig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Geofredo to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Mino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30thth minute of the game Leon Beturian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liebig's Norberto Domiku was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Santana came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Liebig's Eustacio Cuarto. But to his dismay, Eustacio Cuarto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Liebig's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Beturian came free, but Norberto Domiku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes, Eustacio Cuarto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liebig and the Empalme players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Liebig got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Cuarto. Leon Beturian charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Beturian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leon Beturian hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A collision led to Liebig getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Eustacio Cuarto hit a great ball. After 40 minutes of play, Empalme's Leon Beturian made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norberto Domiku was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Pedro Loren came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Empalme fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Loren couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Loren in the 48th minute of play forced Liebig's goalkeeper Norberto Domiku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustacio Cuarto to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Aldo Firman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustacio Cuarto scored 2-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Santana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leon Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Domiku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Loren in the 63rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Beturian got free with Norberto Domiku in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute Pedro Loren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Domiku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Beturian in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Norberto Domiku, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 71 minutes into the game, Leon Beturian lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Norberto Domiku. Leon Beturian succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 75th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Tximitx in the 84th minute of play forced Liebig's goalkeeper Norberto Domiku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Beturian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Norberto Domiku made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Leon Beturian took a quick shot and it went in 2-6 without a chance for Norberto Domiku to make any attempt to save it. Leon Beturian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Norberto Domiku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Liebig's Norberto Domiku got control of the ball when Leon Beturian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eustacio Cuarto got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 94 played minutes Liebig got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Cuarto. Norberto Domiku showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Loren in the 96th minute of the match. Norberto Domiku was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leon Beturian showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-7 in the 97 minute of play. Empalme played a much better game than Liebig and deserved their victory. The Liebig players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
