Bañitos FC's Prudencio Gentza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Bañitos FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Bañitos FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Celso Artal hit a great ball. Leopoldo Gutxi came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Bañitos FC's Dante Orlin. But to his dismay, Dante Orlin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Dante Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Gutxi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Vergaray in the 36th minute of play. Prudencio Gentza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Birila, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute, Club Atletico River Plate's Jiang Zheng Xiong ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Prudencio Gentza. Prudencio Gentza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. In the 47th minute Dante Orlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Gutxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prudencio Vergaray stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Bañitos FC's zone, Aaron Birila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Gentza came out of the goal and Aaron Birila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Prudencio Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Prudencio Gentza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaron Birila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prudencio Gentza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aaron Birila's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute Dante Orlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Gutxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Gutxi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute.
