After a rather tough play, Tamberías's Ismael Gurutz got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, river FC's Lisandro Mitxaut dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 15 minutes into the game, Esteve Berdaitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. river FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tamberías the free kick. After a rather tough play, river FC's Esteve Berdaitz got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th match minute, Tamberías was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romāns Pirtslāva to maneuver through the defense. Julian Urre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Herena having to interfere. A collision led to Tamberías getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Joel Danel hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Tamberías's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Berdaitz came free, but Roque Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Tamberías was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Burni to maneuver through the defense. Esteve Berdaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Herena having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnulfo Dolfos during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute, Arnulfo Dolfos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Joel Danel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braulio Telo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Julian Urre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabricio Laurgain made a kick off. Fabricio Laurgain in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amado Abeitia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of river FC booed when Tamberías was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Cambranes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Berdaitz in the 56th minute of play forced Tamberías's goalkeeper Roque Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Esteve Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 75 minutes into the match, Tamberías's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Urre came free, but Roque Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roque Herena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Urre went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Esteve Berdaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Roque Herena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Joel Danel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tamberías and the river FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Tamberías:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of river FC:s goal. Braulio Telo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 88th minute Christer Hökkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Christer Hökkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The river FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Ismael Gurutz kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the river FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
