Luciano Sidoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Oinatz in the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Zacarias Salvidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. pajarito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Salvidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edwin Strömberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luciano Sidoro came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by EL NEGRO FC's Luciano Ulizes. But to his dismay, Luciano Ulizes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, EL NEGRO FC's goalkeeper Edwin Strömberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomero Ignatius. The supporters of pajarito FC booed when EL NEGRO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Oinatz in the 26th minute of play forced pajarito FC's goalkeeper Luciano Sidoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Benigno Ixidor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 37 played minutes EL NEGRO FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Frances. Benigno Ixidor was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. pajarito FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 47 minutes, Baldomero Ignatius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. pajarito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Ignatius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Ulizes to make the kick off. If Baldomero Ignatius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, pajarito FC's Benigno Ixidor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edwin Strömberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luciano Ulizes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Luciano Sidoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Natalio Oinatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Sidoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, pajarito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Jenaro to maneuver through the defense. EL NEGRO FC's Edwin Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Ixidor in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, EL NEGRO FC's Adolfo Pacho seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adolfo Pacho the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of EL NEGRO FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adolfo Pacho had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, EL NEGRO FC's Adolfo Pacho got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Georgi Marochki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Edwin Strömberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benigno Ixidor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin Strömberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Baldomero Ignatius struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Edwin Strömberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for pajarito FC. After a rather tough play, pajarito FC's David Libertad got a free kick in the 82nd minute. pajarito FC's Baldomero Ignatius got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, EL NEGRO FC's Froilan Isadore got a free kick in the 87th minute. Edwin Strömberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Ignatius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomero Ignatius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin Strömberg having to interfere. pajarito FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
