Abelardo Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Gendolla in the 15th minute of play. Luisito Mercurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Stephen in the 16th minute of the match. Lucjan Gendolla took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abelardo Beliran. Abelardo Beliran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 20th minute Lucjan Gendolla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Rios charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Rios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Idiazábal booed when ElchinoTeam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Lucjan Gendolla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abelardo Beliran quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 34th minute Lucjan Gendolla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dalmacio Weterio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Beliran was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Abelardo Beliran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Gendolla, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. ElchinoTeam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Idiazábal the free kick. Idiazábal's Cristobal Cordarin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ElchinoTeam. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Dalmacio Weterio made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Gaétan Rooney took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Abelardo Beliran to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Idiazábal's Abelardo Beliran got control of the ball when Gaétan Rooney tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Lucjan Gendolla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abelardo Beliran. Lucjan Gendolla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 60th minute, Lucjan Gendolla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abelardo Beliran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. When Cristobal Cordarin fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Idiazábal's protests and gave Cristobal Cordarin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Cristobal Cordarin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Idiazábal defense, Lucjan Gendolla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Beliran. The Idiazábal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Beliran should have stopped the shot. Gaétan Rooney took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abelardo Beliran. Abelardo Beliran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Abelardo Beliran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaétan Rooney in the 82nd minute. Abelardo Beliran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Weterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Abelardo Beliran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucjan Gendolla went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. Dalmacio Weterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Beliran having to interfere. The Idiazábal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ElchinoTeam were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
