The audience thought a goal was coming when Albano Senio got free with Teofilo Orti in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 46 played minutes C.A.B.J. got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Santana. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
