Jonas Törnblom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Txanton in the 13th minute of the match. Prospero Tome was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Hub Rutgers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hub Rutgers really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 17 minutes into the match, Casas's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Blai came free, but Jonas Törnblom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Angelo Txanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Törnblom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bizcochito the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Blai in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Törnblom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bizcochito's Jaime Petrigai managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Delmar Ostadar in the 24 minute of the game. Hub Rutgers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Prospero Tome made a huge save. 27 minutes into the game, Angelo Txanton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jonas Törnblom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ramiro Cresencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Prospero Tome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Hub Rutgers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hub Rutgers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prospero Tome made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Cresencio in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hub Rutgers in the 41st minute of play forced Bizcochito's goalkeeper Prospero Tome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Törnblom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Txanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Jonas Törnblom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Blai in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduardo Blai to make the kick off.
