In the 18th match minute, Chimbas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Pacho to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Bartolome hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Bartosz Zembrzuski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chimbas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartosz Zembrzuski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Faustino Maule had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Geofredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Melker Berggren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Orlanda in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bartosz Zembrzuski to strike the kick off in the second half. Bartosz Zembrzuski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 59 played minutes, Chimbas's Evelio Pacho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Melker Berggren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Faustino Maule might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Arnau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faustino Maule ran back to his position shaking his head. After 69 minutes Chimbas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leo Sendoa who took care of the corner kick. 72 minutes into the match, Chimbas's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Maule came free, but Aurelio Arnau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Somisa FC's Leo Sendoa got a free kick in the 77th minute. Cristobal Hernando kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 79 minutes, Teobaldo Montae mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Somisa FC and the Chimbas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Somisa FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chimbas:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chimbas's zone, Faustino Maule stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Arnau came out of the goal and Faustino Maule tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cosme Urti fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chimbas's protests and gave Cosme Urti a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chimbas getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Cosme Urti hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Somisa FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
