Javier Palban took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorio Bonifaco. Victorio Bonifaco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Victorio Bonifaco came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Covunco AFC's Jonas Oihenarte. But to his dismay, Jonas Oihenarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 23 minutes into the match, VILLAREAL's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Nowacki came free, but Victorio Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Israel Natal hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Nowacki in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorio Bonifaco saved VILLAREAL from getting behind. Ceferino Cordaryal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Jonas Oihenarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victorio Bonifaco. VILLAREAL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Oihenarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Nowacki in the 34th minute of play forced VILLAREAL's goalkeeper Victorio Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Javier Palban in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorio Bonifaco saved VILLAREAL from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Oihenarte in the 37th minute of play forced VILLAREAL's goalkeeper Victorio Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VILLAREAL's Victorio Bonifaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Nowacki in the 40th minute of play. Roland Nowacki took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorio Bonifaco. Victorio Bonifaco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 45th minute, Jonas Oihenarte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Covunco AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

VILLAREAL made a substitution. Paulino Rosario replaced Herminio Costante. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saverio Xabat made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Paulino Rosario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VILLAREAL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Covunco AFC the free kick. The supporters of Covunco AFC booed when VILLAREAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorio Bonifaco made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Jonas Oihenarte sent off a good shot on target. After 59 minutes of play, Covunco AFC's Jonas Oihenarte made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victorio Bonifaco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Javier Palban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Bonifaco having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Covunco AFC's Jonas Oihenarte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victorio Bonifaco. That made the score 0-9 after 65 minutes of play. Victorio Bonifaco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Nowacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Oihenarte got free with Victorio Bonifaco in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Nowacki in the 75th minute of play forced VILLAREAL's goalkeeper Victorio Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino Rosario hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the VILLAREAL defense, Jonas Oihenarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorio Bonifaco. The VILLAREAL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorio Bonifaco should have stopped the shot. VILLAREAL's Victorio Bonifaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Palban in the 83rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in VILLAREAL's zone, Zeledon Gorosti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Bonifaco came out of the goal and Zeledon Gorosti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute Jonas Oihenarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Bonifaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Covunco AFC's Victorio Bonifaco threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roland Nowacki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 88th minute of the match, Jonas Oihenarte got a very nice opportunity to score, but Victorio Bonifaco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 91 minutes into the match, Roland Nowacki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Victorio Bonifaco, 0-11. Victorio Bonifaco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Nowacki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Covunco AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
