If Gabriel Hjelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Eleuterio Gonsalve put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Vagues FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alabalabimbo:s goal. In the 14th minute, Gabriel Hjelm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21stth minute of the game Gabriel Hjelm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vagues FC's Hipolito Gaizko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Gualterio Su hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Mendebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Hjelm in the 29th minute of play forced Vagues FC's goalkeeper Hipolito Gaizko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Elvio Ponc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Gabriel Hjelm notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Vagues FC's Hipolito Gaizko. Hipolito Gaizko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nemesio Mendebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Hipolito Gaizko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 48 played minutes Vagues FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Eutor. After the first half Alabalabimbo were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elvio Ponc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Gonzalo Hondo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hipolito Gaizko was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Nemesio Mendebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Gaizko having to interfere. Hipolito Gaizko was a little too slow when Gabriel Hjelm got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-6. Nemesio Mendebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Hipolito Gaizko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Nemesio Mendebal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hipolito Gaizko. Vagues FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Mendebal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Vagues FC's Hipolito Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Jesco in the 87th minute of play. Nemesio Mendebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nemesio Mendebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nemesio Mendebal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Hipolito Gaizko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 98 minutes, Gaudencio Jesco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alabalabimbo and the Vagues FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 98th match minute, Alabalabimbo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Jesco to maneuver through the defense. Alabalabimbo's Eustacio Jurdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Ponc in the 99th minute of play. In the 99th minute, Elvio Ponc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eustacio Jurdan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. When the final whistle sounded Alabalabimbo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vagues FC.
