In the 15th minute, Simon Montae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Godfredo Batista came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Florida's Xuan Bolivar. But to his dismay, Xuan Bolivar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Fernan Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Isidor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xuan Bolivar might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Godfredo Batista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xuan Bolivar ran back to his position shaking his head. Ruperto Ezkerra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Godfredo Batista. C. A. MALA LECHE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Neifi Uribe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Florida's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. MALA LECHE the free kick. The supporters of C. A. MALA LECHE booed when Florida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neifi Uribe didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Flavio Ebardo fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Florida's protests and gave Flavio Ebardo a yellow card for diving instead. If Cosme Oroitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Montae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Godfredo Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Xuan Bolivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernan Shepherd to strike the kick off in the second half. Florida's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ruperto Ezkerra in the 54th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ruperto Ezkerra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Godfredo Batista quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 55th minute, Arnoldo Costante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Montae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Batista having to interfere. Godfredo Batista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Montae went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wladyslaw Sawicki in the 68th minute of play forced Florida's goalkeeper Jose Tebaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cosme Oroitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Tebaldo was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Xuan Bolivar kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 78 minutes, Christian Salomone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Florida and the C. A. MALA LECHE players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, Christian Salomone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Tebaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Laurin in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Oroitz in the 81st minute of play forced Florida's goalkeeper Jose Tebaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wladyslaw Sawicki scored 1-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Tebaldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle went the supporters of Florida were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant C. A. MALA LECHE side.
