Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adolfo Jaen took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Cochequingam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Astigar to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Astigar in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Aimar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Mechongué FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jimeno Saturnin hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mechongué FC's Jimeno Olo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domingos Mano. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimeno Olo during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Mechongué FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Olo to maneuver through the defense. When Bartolo Lertxun came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Cochequingam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Lertxun couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cochequingam's goalkeeper Domingos Mano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Domingos Mano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Sagrario in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Nicanor Nafarroa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruperto Aimar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Jimeno Olo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. The supporters of Cochequingam booed when Mechongué FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Olo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Modesto Astigar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nereo Jax might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruperto Aimar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nereo Jax ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27thth minute of the game Modesto Astigar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mechongué FC's Ruperto Aimar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Marcos Admon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Marcos Admon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the game, Mechongué FC's Saverio Guter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingos Mano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Modesto Astigar made the kick off in the second half. Saverio Guter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Mano having to interfere. The supporters of Cochequingam booed when Mechongué FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Jaen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saverio Guter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Domingos Mano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saverio Guter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th match minute, Cochequingam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Admon to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Adolfo Jaen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Admon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ruperto Aimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rene Sandaili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Cochequingam defense, Saverio Guter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingos Mano. The Cochequingam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingos Mano should have stopped the shot. Domingos Mano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saverio Guter's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. When Saverio Guter came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Mechongué FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saverio Guter couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Saverio Guter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mechongué FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Cochequingam's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Mechongué FC had won, even though Cochequingam had held more of the ball.
