Paulo Petrigai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Cardozo FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Valerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Adrio. In the 7thth minute of the game Dalmacio Abreu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yala AFC's Paulo Petrigai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute Dalmacio Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Modestio in the 17th minute of play forced Cardozo FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Valerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Diegotxe kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Carolo Lizer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higinio Modestio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Valerio having to interfere. Simon Chucho kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Adrio got free with Gabriel Valerio in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute Artemio Oalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Artemio Oalo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Petrigai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Yala AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cardozo FC were winning 0-1.

In the 54th minute, Artemio Oalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dalmacio Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Yala AFC's Clemente Adrio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Valerio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a little luck, Yala AFC's Paulo Petrigai got control of the ball when Dalmacio Abreu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Yala AFC booed when Cardozo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Oidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Honorio Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Valerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes Cardozo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Honorio Montrel who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Honorio Montrel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gabriel Valerio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Paulo Petrigai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dalmacio Abreu went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the game, Higinio Modestio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Gabriel Valerio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Cardozo FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
